PARIS IS BURNING
A title sequence for the documentary "Paris is Burning" which follows drag queens and other members of the LGBTQIA+ community living in New York City in the mid-80s and frequenting the drag balls in Harlem.
My approach to this project was to produce a gritty and organic graphic but maintaining the aspect of desirable luxury. Therefore I decided to use mostly stop-motion with textured and colorful fabrics, and jewelry.
