A frame-by-frame animation that follows New Yorkers during a day in quarantine. Narrated by Governor Cuomo's words on being New York Tough, and dedicated to all essential workers that were assigned to the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the beginning of 2020, COVID-19, a deadly pandemic spread throughout the world, drastically changing the way we interact with each other. Essential workers blindly jumped to the frontlines, and we owe them an immense amount of gratitude and recognition. My intention with this piece was to convey a personable atmosphere by showcasing a diverse group of people instead of centering it around a main character. Also, I wanted to value the strength and courage of essential workers.
